By Car

Travelling from Dublin

  • Take the M7 (signs for Luimneach/​Limerick/​Corcaigh/​Cork/​Port Láirge/​Waterford/​M8/​M9) and after 74 km continue on M8, follow signs for Corcaigh/​Cork/​Darú/​Durrow
  • At Dunkettle Interchange (Jct 19) roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Cork South Ring Road – N40
    (signposted South Ring)
  • Go through the Jack Lynch Tunnel (Southbound)
  • Branch left, then at Kinsale Road Roundabout take the 4th exit onto South City Link Road – N27(signposted City Centre)
  • Continue through 2 sets of traffic lights.  The City Hall carpark is on your left as you pass through the last traffic lights (before you reach the river)

Travelling from Galway

  • Take the M18 ramp to Luimneach/​Limerick/​N19/​Aerfort Sionainn/​ShannonAirport
  • At junction 4, exit onto N20 toward Corcaigh/​Cork/​Cromadh/​Croom
  • Leave the M20 at junction 5, then merge onto the N20 (signposted Cork)
  • Continue forward onto Cork Road – N20 Entering Charleville
  • Continue forward onto the N20 Entering Mallow
  • At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the N20 (signposted Cork)
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N20 (signposted Cork)
  • Continue forward onto Commons Road – R635
  • At traffic signals turn right onto Leitrim Street – N20 (signposted City Centre)
  • At traffic signals continue forward then immediately cross ChristyRingBridge (River Lee)
  • At the traffic signals turn left onto Merchant’s Quay – N20 (signposted South Ring N25, All Routes)
  • At traffic signals continue forward onto Merchant’s Quay (signposted Dublin N8, Rosslare, South Ring N25) Cork Bus Station
  • At traffic signals turn right onto Clontarf Street (signposted All Routes)
  • Continue forward onto ClontarfBridge
  • Turn right onto East Albert Quay
  • Finish on East Albert Quay
